Our First Amendment Rights
Provided on this page are two articles pertaining to our First Amendment Rights of which Historian Lorraine Marks-Haislip relied upon to confront obstacles. Many times, Mrs. Haislip was "admonished" for writing letters directly to officials and entities on the behalf of servicemen and their families requesting the proper recognition for their sacrifices at Pearl Harbor, particularly when requesting more appropriate and honorable gravemarkers be placed for the "unknown" Pearl Harbor buried.
